Lila MacDowell is the founder of Lila MacDowell Bookkeeping. Lila started this company after many years of friends and associates asking questions for their businesses. It seemed a natural fit to start her own bookkeeping practice.
Lila has many years of experience in the corporate world in the Accounting profession. Her career started out in a small family owned accounting practice to being the Fiscal Director of a $9m Non Profit.
She has also practiced Accounting in various industries over the years from public accounting, manufacturing, health care, television, transportation, legal, church and ministry. Some of these were for profit entities and some were non profit entities.
Lila loves digging into the “weeds” to get things in proper order. She loves analyzing data and making sense of that data for other people. Lila has experience with all areas of accounting from Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Budgets, Analytics, Financial Statements and Board Presentations.
As a Wife, Mom of 5 adult children,3 dogs and a Mee-Maw to a set of twins and triplets, Lila understands that family time is important. Life is short. Focus on what matters to you and outsource the rest.
Lila’s passion is to help mission driven entrepreneurs understand their numbers and grow their businesses. Lila understands that mission driven people want to spend their time fulfilling their mission and they don’t want to give up family time to learn and do bookkeeping.
